GMS is a comprehensive software package for developing computer simulations of groundwater
problems. GMS is the most sophisticated and comprehensive groundwater modeling pre- and
post-processor available today. GMS is used at thousands of sites including federal, state, private
and, international sites.
GMS is a comprehensive package which provides tools for every phase of a groundwater simulation
including site characterization, model development, post-processing, calibration, and visualization. GMS is
the only system which supports TINs, solids, borehole data, 2D & 3D geostatistics, and
both finite element and finite difference models in 2D & 3D. Currently supported models include
MODFLOW, MODPATH, MT3D, RT3D, FEMWATER, and SEEP2D.
GMS is distributed commercially through
Environmental Modeling Systems Incorporated
(EMS-I). EMS-I
also sponsors regularly scheduled training courses featuring GMS. If you are interested in downloading,
evaluating, or purchasing GMS, please visit the EMS-I site.
